The Sigurtà Garden Park awarded by the World Tulip Society

Another milestone for the Sigurtà Garden Park, a naturalistic oasis of 600,000 square meters located near Verona and Lake Garda in Italy. The World Tulip Society, a world-wide society that brings together the “supporters” of tulips from 20 countries, has given the Park the World Tulip Award 2019 for the celebration and promotion of the tulip, appointing the Park as a world destination worthy of visit for the flowering of tulips (World Tulip Destination Worth Traveling For).

All this thanks to Tulipanomania of the Sigurtà Park (already awarded Second Most Beautiful Park in Europe), in fact, it is the protagonist of the months of March and April with over a million tulips that, with hyacinths, muscari, and narcissus, color the woods and carpets grassy, in flower beds every year redesigned and in free form. The World Tulip Society is committed to promoting the tulip as a symbol of friendship and peace in the world and the award ceremony took place on Monday 14 October 2019 in The Hague (Netherlands) at the World Tulip Summit, the world summit on tulips held every two years and an opportunity to network and celebrate the special history of the tulip and its relationship with humanity over the centuries. In these days, the bulbs are being planted at the Park to give a show of Tulipanomania to Spring 2020, always new and different, with colors and scents that will fascinate nature and photography enthusiasts.
